10.2. Autosuggesting query terms

Spell-checking is a nice feature to have, but you can also go a long way to preventing spelling errors in the first place by suggesting query terms as users type. Autosuggest is especially helpful in mobile environments where “fat-finger” style errors are common. In this section, we focus on the Suggester that is built into Solr 4.
